Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently credited late filmmaker Yash Chopra as the reason behind her presence in the Indian Film Industry. Rai added that he will always remain special to her.
The ‘Action Replayy’ actress was at the NGO ‘Magic Bus’ to celebrate Children’s Day on November 14, 2012. While talking to reporters the ‘Dhoom 2’ actress said, “Yashji is very special to me because he is one of the reasons that I am in the film industry. He is one of the main reasons because he is the one who kept talking to me for two years before I joined the industry, to convince me”.
The ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ actress also said that Chopra used to tease her by saying that she must become an architect and design her own sets, after which she would definitely come in front of the camera. Aishwary Rai has worked with Yash Raj Films (YRF) in movies like ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Dhoom 2’.
The ‘Devdas’ actress also said that she had shared a very special relationship with the late filmmaker. After Ash got married to Abhishek Bachchan, Chopra used to say that now she has become like a daughter-in-law for him, which showed how personal their relationship was. Rai also featured in the popular item song ‘Kajra re’ from YRF’s ‘Bunti Aur Babli’.
