On November 24, 2012, Kyoto will host the Future Shorts Festival. The festival is considered to be one of the biggest pop-up festivals of its kind. The organizers of the show said that the event will showcase the most exciting short films from across the globe and will reflect different cultures more realistically, while catalyzing cultural exchange.
The festival is also an international community for Japanese and overseas filmmakers to network, exchange projects across borders and create new values.
The event will take place at Art Complex and the entry fee will be 2,000 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for students. The festival will start at 6:30 pm.
