Auto manufacturer Toyota has once again announced a global recall of more than 2.77 million vehicles. The vehicles have been recalled over water pump and steering problems and is the latest blow for the company in terms of vehicle safety.
Japans biggest automaker said on November 15, 2012 that there were no reported injuries or accidents due to the defects, but it has received about 400 complaints in Japan over the pump issue and a few for the steering issue. Just last month the company recalled 7.43 million vehicles globally, over a possible risk of fire caused due to a bug in the vehicle’s electric windows. In the past year other car manufacturing companies like Honda and Nissan have also recalled units around the world.
