Electronics manufacturing giant Sony waited till the last minute to reveal its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. The company released deals on November 22, 2012 – Thanksgiving morning. However, some customers who have been waiting for Black Friday sales may be disappointed as there are no attractive offers for the company’s Vaio laptops.
Most of the deals that have been announced have up to USD 50 price cuts on the Vaio E Series 11 with an AMD E2 1800 dual core processor. containing 4 GB RAM, 750 GB hard disk and a 11.6 inch LED Backlit display.
Moreover, for other cheaper models the discount is even less, such as the $30 price cut on the pink E series 14 and white E series 15. If you are looking for an Ultrabook on the lower end of the price spectrum, Sony will be cutting USD 100 off the Vaio T series 13 with the Core i3 3217U processor, containing 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive and 32 GB solid state drive.
Disappointingly, the larger price cuts are only available when you spend a lot. For instance, a customer can get USD 120 savings on a Vaio S Series 13 laptop with a Core i7 3520M processor, 750 GB hard drive, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT 640 LE discreet graphics and Windows 8 Pro sale priced at $1,079.99. In comparison, when you buy a cheaper model you will only be saving USD 50.
