Tablet manufacturer Pantel Technologies has launched its 8-inch, WS802C 2G Penta T-Pad in the Indian market for Rs. 8,299. The new T-Pad has an 8-inch multi-touch capacitive screen with a 2G inbuilt SIM slot.

The device also comes pre-loaded with popular applications like Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds and Skype. The tablet also comes with a  5000 mAh battery and a 3D graphics accelerator. The connectivity features of the device includes Wi-Fi and a slot for a 3G USB dongle. The device uses a 1.2 Ghz processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB.

Vijender Singh, the MD of Pantel Technologies, at the launch of the product said, “This latest product (has been) introduced in India for the first time. The Penta T-Pad WS802C Voice calling tablet PC, with unique accessory and multiple connectivity options (comes) at an affordable price of Rs 8,299.”

The Pantel tablet comes with a keyboard which has an in-built stereo phonic speaker system, which has been designed specifically for the device. The keyboard is priced at Rs. 1,499 and helps to convert the tablet into a laptop. Other connectivity options for the T-Pad include USB, an HDMI Port and Bluetooth, so as to ensure portability and compatibility with devices and services.
