US tech giant Apple launched its iPad Mini for the Indian market on December 7, 2012. Just recently the company launched iTunes in the country after a long wait.
The iPad Mini has a 7.9 inch touchscreen and will be available in India starting from Rs. 21,900 for the 16 GB purely Wi-Fi variant. The 32 GB and the 64 GB variants of the iPad Mini will cost Rs. 27,900 and Rs. 33,900 respectively in India.
Surprisingly, the company has launched a few more variants and will also be selling its 32 GB and 64 GB Wi-Fi and 4G variants of the iPad Mini, which have been priced at Rs. 29,900, Rs.35,500 and Rs. 41,900 respectively.
The iPad’s are compatible with 4G networks and have a 9.7 inch touchscreen with Retina Display technology. They run on A6X dual core processors as well. The new 7-inch iPad Mini is 23% slimmer and also weighs 53% lesser than the regular iPad.
Apple has been on a role of late, with various devices earning them top sales. Their iPhone 5 had recently been sold out across various Apple outlets and now stocks have been replenished. The tech company is still going strong despite being in a legal battle with Samsung over a long-standing patent issue.
