Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki has recently unveiled a 2013 face-lifted model of its popular WagonR hatchback for the Indian market. The WagonR hatchback is one of the most popular vehicles of the company and is also one of the best selling products in the passenger vehicle market.

While talking about the interiors and the alterations, the new WagonR has received a number of cosmetic changes as compared to the old model. Maruti Suzuki has also claimed that the engine fitted on to the new version of the vehicle will deliver better power with improved fuel efficiency.

The new version of the vehicle definitely has a fresh look about it, with a redesigned front section. The 2013 WagonR has a 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder, KB10 K-series petrol engine, which can push out peak power at around 67 bhp, along with a maximum torque delivery of 90 Nm.

The price of the new version has not yet been unveiled, but it is expected that it will be at least 0.5 to 2 percent more expensive than the current WagonR series that is available in the Indian market. Since the launch of the iconic ‘tall-boy’ vehicle in the Indian market in 1999, the company has sold 12.34 lakh models of the car, satisfying the ever-increasing appetite of the Indian car enthusiast.
