Popular hamburger chain MOS Foods services and Japan Airlines (JAL) are once again set to join hands. This would be the third collaboration between the companies. The two will come together for the eight installment of JAL’s popular AIR series, which is an in-flight meal service.
In the past, collaboration between the two companies has resulted in the AIR MOS Burger (Teriyaki) and the AIR MOS Rice Burger. JAL has now designed the original version of the AIR MOS Teriyaki Egg Burger, which will be served on selected routes from March 1, 2013 to May 31, 2013. The Teriyaki Egg Burger has been inspired by MOS Burger’s classic Teriyaki Burger, which has been sold since the year 1973 in MOS Burger chain stores.
The burger is served with warm bread, a hamburger patty which is wrapped in a special paper, with locally produced lettuce and a finely cut hard-boiled egg mixed with mayonnaise. Customers can even enjoy their own burger by adding the right amount of teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise sauce's, according to their liking.
Moreover, the tray mat and the packing will have the MOS Burger logo and JAL aircraft in an appealing pop design. The Teriyaki Egg Burger will be served in the Economy Class and Premium Economy class sections of the flight, during a second meal service on flights departing Tokyo to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and others.
