Britain based luxury car maker Rolls Royce might roll out a customized edition of its Phantom and Ghost models for the Indian buyers. A senior official from the company, on February 21, 2013, said that the company might be ready with plans within the next two months.

Herfried Hasenoehrl, the general manager of Emerging Markets of the company said, “We want to be ready with the idea within the next two months. We are talking to professionals and designers. These discussions take some time as we want to ensure the quality of the product”. Rolls Royce has officially launched a dealership in the city of Hyderabad.

The GM, during the launch said that the customized version of the car might not g on sale in large numbers, but he did not clarify a particular figure. Hadenoehrl said that in the past they had focused on the market and that their customers have a very high standard of taste, due to which they need to spend a little more time developing a suitable plan.

Rolls Royce added that was already selling customized cars in the Middle East market. By mid year, the company also has plans to begin two more dealerships. Last year the company launched the ‘Dragon’ for the Chinese market.
