Tablet manufacturer Pantel Technologies has launched its Penta T-Pad WS708C for the Indian market. The device has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The new Penta WS708C is powered by a cortex A9 1 GHz processor, with a Mali 400 3D Accelerator GPU.
The device runs on the Android 4.1 jelly Bean operating system and has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The other features of the tablet include a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera for video calling. The device also supports dual-SIM connectivity. The Penta T-Pad WS708C also has 512 MB DDR RAM, with internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB.
Pantel’s latest tablet is packed with popular apps like Facebook, Angry Birds, YouTube and other such popular services. The connectivity features of the tablet include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and an HDMI port. Vijender Singh, the managing director of the company, during the launch said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce the latest Penta T-Pad WS708C with a DUAL-SIM slot and the latest OS. The tablet PC will further confirm our commitment to deliver an exceptional user experience at an affordable price range.”
With this new device, Pantel hopes to get a share of the already competitive tablet market and is hoping its cost-effective pricing will win it some customers.
