Japan is now all set to stage its first ever D23 Expo. The event will be put together for the fans of the legendary cartoon characters created by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. The upcoming D23 Expo Japan, will be the first time that the event is being held outside the United States.
The event will feature an array of engaging presentations and will be hosted by the senior creative executives of Disney. The executives will be showcasing what is on the horizon from across The Walt Disney Co. This will also include introductions to television, theme parks and interactive music.
The fans of Disney will get to enjoy unique experiences and will also have the opportunity to purchase one of a kind merchandise and collectibles. The event will also provide an opportunity for people to meet many of the Disney characters. The D23 Expo is all set to take place From October 12, 2013 to October 14, 2013 at the Tokyo Disney Resort in the Maihama Area.
Details of the tickets and the program of the event will be announced in March 2013. The Expo will also feature two special exhibitions celebrating some landmark Disney milestones. The first one will be to pay homage to D23, The Walt Disney Co’s 90th Anniversary and the Walt Disney Archives.
