Auto manufacturer Renault said on April 8, 2013 that it has launched a limited edition of its sedan Scala, which has been priced at Rs. 9.79 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. The French-based company had introduced the Scala in the Indian market in September 2012.
The car company issued a statement which said, “The Scala Travelogue Edition is available with the Scala RXZ diesel variant at a price of Rs.9,78,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available till May 31, 2013.” Sumit Sawhney, the Renault India Executive Director said that the Scala Travelogue Edition offers the next level in driving dynamics, comfort, innovation and fuel efficiency for better and more connected summer drives.
Sawhney added that Renault will continue to offer the exceptional quality and elegance of the Renault Scala. The statement from the company suggested that the features of the new edition would include updated navigation with voice control, Bluetooth connectivity, a DVD player, USB port, reverse camera portability, as well as steering mounted controls.
The official website of the Renault Scala also says that the car has an anti-lock braking system, as well as electronic brake force distribution, which gives complete control during emergency braking. Moreover, the multi-information display gives the driver all vital information at one glance. Superior suspension offers a memorable driving experience as well and this adds to the car’s positives.
