Indian mobile phone manufacturing giant Karbonn plans to launch a range of tablets under its ‘Ta-Fone’ brand. The new tablet is known as the Ta-Fone A34 and is powered by a 1Ghz single core Cortex A9 processor, with 512MB of RAM.
Online shopping giant Infibeam is already selling the tablet for Rs. 7,290 and the site is also offering a further discount of Rs. 440, when customers use the promo code ‘KAR440’. The features of the phone include a 7-inch capacitive touch screen, with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It also has dual SIM support with GSM on both SIMS and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The connectivity options of the device include Wi Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth and it also supports voice calling. The A34 runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The device has a 2-megapixel rear camera, as well as a front facing camera with 4GB internal storage, out of which 2GB is accessible.
The new A34 tablet by Karbonn has joined the Ta Fone A37 Kommunicate 3G, which has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with WVGA resolution and is powered by a 1GHZ dual-core processor.
