Auto giant Skoda Auto India has introduced a limited edition Rapid Prestige diesel sedan. The new model has been introduced for a limited time only and has been priced at Rs. 9 lakh ex-showroom price New Delhi.
The new Rapid Prestige will enter the Indian market with excellent interiors and exteriors, apart from navigation and infotainment features, which sets the vehicle apart from most of its competition. The new sedan will have parking sensors, floor mats and wind visors. The vehicle will also have a 1.6 TDI engine, which will have manual transmission and will have peak power of 105 PS at 4400 rpm, as well as peak torque at 250 Nm between 1500 to 2500 rpm.
The new Rapid Prestige will have safety features like driver and front passenger airbags, with anti-lock braking systems, one touch operation for electrically adjustable windows and anti-pinch windows. The vehicle will also sport the Skoda 2-Din integrated audio player, security code for the audio player and an SD/MMC data card reader.
The seats for the front passengers can be electronically adjusted and even the steering wheel would be adjustable. The interiors will be fitted with automatic air conditioning, a remote controlled central door locking system, dual rear air conditioning vents and electronically adjustable exterior mirrors.
