Once again popular telecom service provider Idea has launched a budget Android smartphone Idea Whiz on its website. The device has been launched by the telecom operator with a price tag of Rs. 7,850, but there is still no news about the official launch.
The Idea Whiz has a 4-inch WVGA display which runs on Android and is powered by 1Ghz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 operating system, 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory storage
The dual-SIM Idea Wiz features include 5-megapixel autofocus camera, with a VGA front camera. The device also comes with a 1500 mAh battery, which can give 12.5 hours of talk time on 2G and 8.5 hours on 3G. The website of the company offers 3G data for the first three months.
The states where the offer will be available includes Haryana, HP, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, as well as the west and east circles. The rest of the states will offer 2G data benefits for subscribers. The company claims that the phone will also offer faster internet browsing, games and smart applications, email updates and widgets, with 4GB internal memory and 1500 mAh powerful battery.
