Auto manufacturing giant Honda Cars India has launched six new variants of its small car Brio, which includes certain upgrades to the vehicles. The upgrades in the new versions include a seat height adjuster, rear windshield defogger, as well as additional safety measures.
The new features have been introduced in the vehicle as per the customer’s feedback. The Brio by Honda will be available in the new variants like EXMT, EMT, VKMT, SMT, VXMT and VXAT. They will be priced between Rs. 4.12 lakh to Rs. 6.12 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
Jnaneshwar Jain, the Senior vice president of Marketing and sales at Honda Cars India said, “Brio is a significant model for Honda in India as the car added more than 32,000 customers in the last fiscal. It is our endeavour to study customers’ needs and aspirations and introduce features that enhance the overall ownership experience”. The vehicle will also come with a ‘Honda Car Maintenance Package’, for a free periodic maintenance service up to 40,000 km or two years, whichever comes first.
The maintenance package can be bought for Rs. 9.996. The Brio comes with a 4-cylinder 1.2 litre i-VTEC engine, which gives a fuel economy of 19.4 km/litre for manual transmission and 16.5 km/litre for auto transmission, as per test data.
