South Korean giant Samsung is all set to launch a new phone which is camera focused. Sources familiar with the development said that the company will be launching its Galaxy S4 Zoom which is code named as SM C1010. The smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel camera. The report also mentioned that as the phone has the Galaxy S4 prefix , it will sport a smaller 4.3 inch super AMOLED display.
Even though there are no specific information available regarding the processor which powers the phone, the website suggests that it is likely to be a dual-core or quad-core processor. The company has used a 16-megapixel camera lens on its Galaxy Camera, a point and shoot connected camera which runs on Android. The S4 Zoom might offer 8 GB of internal memory with Micro SD card which will allow the users to expand the device memory of up to 64 GB.
The connectivity features of the phone might include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS, and will run Android Jelly Bean with the company’s own Touch Wiz Nature UX layer on top. Reports say that the device is expected to be launched before summer by June or July 2013 and will be available in black and white colours.
