Swedish company Electrolux is all set to enter the water purifier market in India by June 2013, with the launch of its premium RO solutions. An official spokesperson from the company said that the launch of new Electrolux RO purifiers will bring a new level of premium excellence to the high-end segment.
The spokesperson also said, “Electrolux senses a big opportunity to sell water purifiers globally and to capitalize the opportunities, it intends to roll the ball from India”. The official added that the water purifiers will cater to needs of elite customers and will offer a variety of models to suit any architectural designer kitchens.
However, the official did not share other details, such as of time of launch, model range, possible prices and if these appliances will be assembled locally or imported. Sources from the company said that the products will be rolled out while keeping in mind the growing demands of premium range of appliances in India.
The company has internally announced that it intends to register its presence in water purifiers segment in the country. It is also likely to roll out the first such water purifier range in June 2013.
