Online shopping giant Amazon.com has announced that its Appstore for Android has been launched to customers in India. The Appstore has been launched in 200 countries worldwide, also including India. The new store gives the access to apps and games from brands like Disney and Electronic Arts.

New releases, now available, include Iron Man 3, Angry Birds Friends, Plants Vs Zombies and Temple Run 2. With the Appstore, customers will also have access to features like Free App Of The Day, that offers a paid app for free every day. Amazon released a press statement which said that the store is bringing back one of its free Apps of the Day, Fruit Ninja and Cut The Rope: Experiments.

These two apps will be available for free on May 23 and May 24, 2013, respectively. The store can be visited through the link www.amazon.com/appstore. The recent announcement is part of the company’s global expansion, which includes Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, China and Japan. In the upcoming months, the Appstore will also come to Brazil. In April, 2013, Amazon also announced its expansion in more countries, such as South Korea, India, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Vatican City.
