In an era when the popularity of online stores is increasing every day, soft drinks giant Coca-Cola India has started an online store for home delivery of all its products. This recent move has been taken by the company in order to take the best advantage of ever-increasing e-commerce market.
New service has been launched by Hindustan Coca-Cola and is known as ‘Coke2Home.com’. The website went live recently and is being tested in the Ahmedabad region at the moment. The popularity of online business has increased tremendously and one can find almost everything on the Internet.
More and more customers are now moving to the Internet to make their purchases. In the last few years, many egrocery stores have also come up in order to increase convenience of customers. T Krishnakumar, CEO of Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages said, “The objective of this initiative is to take advantage of the rapid growth of e-commerce and provide consumers an added avenue of choosing and ordering our beverages. This is a step which is in keeping with Coca-Cola India’s efforts of being within easy reach of the consumers”.
Krishnakumar went on to say that the whole range of their products is available online and a significant drop size helps them with a viable model for door-to-door delivery.
