Asia Bizz: Suresh Kalamadi, Chairman Of Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee Is Ready To Quit If Found Guilty
The ongoing Commonwealth Games 2010 corruption has some what shocked the nation of India, where the games are expected to take place this year. Suresh Kalamadi, the Chairman of the organizing committee of the Commonwealth Games that are going to take place within a few months in India, this year, says that he is ready to quit, if found guilty.
Reports say that Kalamadi said that he would resign from his post after the games, if anything comes out against him. He added that to make the Commonwealth Games a big success is his first priority.
“If my leaders and IOA don’t want me there, then I am ready to quit. If there is something so big that I have done wrong. But I tell you there is no wrong. Let the inquiry report come out. There is nothing to be ashamed of,” Kalmadi told an Indian TV channel.
He clarified that he will not give up in this fight and will take all efforts to take action against those who are found guilty and have contributed to this corruption surrounding the Games.
