Indian mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn released its latest smartphone – Titanium S9 with high-definition display – for the Indian market. The company says that the phone has an enhanced battery life, along with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera and has been priced at Rs. 19,900.
The phone runs on MediaTek’s 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, while another Indian phone manufacturer – Micromax – also uses MediaTek’s quad-core processor in its smartphones. The device has Dual SIM Titanium S9, which runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system and comes with a 2600 mAh battery with 16 GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM.
Other features of the device include a 5.5-inch HD IPS capacitive screen with high-definition 720p display and also has a 5-megapixel front camera for video chats. Shashin Devsare, executive director of Karbonn said that the launch of Karbonn Titanium S9 has initiated the company’s foray into the HD IPS smartphone category.
Under this category, the smartphone will make attempts to satisfy consumer needs with the best-in-class technological innovations. The Titanium series of the company have been well-received on the market. In May 2013, the company launched the S5 priced at Rs. 11,990.
