On July 11, 2013, smartphone manufacturing giant Spice Mobile has launched its new flagship phablet, Stellar Pinnacle FHD. The new handset from the company has a 5-inch full HD screen and has been priced at Rs. 16,990 for the Indian market. With this launch, the latest device will be competing with other handsets on the market, like Lava Xolo X1000, Micromax Canvas 4, Karbonn Titanium S9 and the Nokia Lumia 720.
The new device from Spice runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. The Stellar Pinnacle comes with 1 GB of internal RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, with an expansion up to 32 GB through microSD cards. The phone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with dual flash and a 2-megapixel front camera for video calling.
In terms of connectivity, the device has 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB connectivity. The Stellar Pinnacle also has certain features such as Intelligent Answer, Direct Call and the Flip To Mute. The device is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery and offers 2 GB of free Spice Cloud storage and Netqin antivirus.
The device is now up for pre-orders at the online retail store Saholic.
