Same as the company’s mini variant, Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is now up for pre-orders on the Indian market for Rs. 29,390. The basic goal behind the Samsung device is to provide photography enthusiasts an experience with the point-and-shoot camera which is clubbed with smartphone capabilities. However, this is not the first time that Samsung has adopted this kind of design.
The Galaxy Camera became the first one to come with Android onboard. However, as opposed to the device in question, the snapper did not have voice calling capabilities. What is worth mentioning is that the S4 Zoom was announced globally featuring a bridge form factor with an interchangeable lens system.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is similar to the 807 Pureview?s and the Lumia 1020’s 41 MP sensors. The Android Jelly Bean platform runs along with a suite of exclusive software attributes from the company. The device has a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED panel and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor with 8 GB of storage, 1.5 GB of RAM and 1.9 MP webcam.
Moreover, the company is also offering the device with freebies like lens flip cover worth Rs. 2,099, a free lens or LCD replacement and an entertainment pack of Rs. 8,000, among other things.
