Mobile phone manufacturing giant Samsung has launched its new Galaxy W789 for the Chinese market. With this latest launch, Samsung has introduced a mixture of the old and new, as the new device has the old-school flip phone design with dual touchscreens.
The new Galaxy W789 has two 3.3-inch TFT touchscreens with 480×320 pixel resolution. The device also has new hardware keys like Back, Home and Options in the alphanumeric keypad for the inner display. The other screen has three buttons below the screen.
The new Galaxy has been powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and runs on 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The company states that it has a 1,500 mAh battery and comes with a 5-megapixel camera. The connectivity features of the device include 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0.
The device also supports dual SIM cards and has 5-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash. So far, there are no indications regarding when will the new device be launched on the Indian market. On the other hand, Samsung is planning to announce another Android-powered Clamshell phone which will be called Galaxy Folder.
