Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia has unveiled its biggest smartphone, Lumia 625, for the Indian market. The device is scheduled to be launched soon and pre-orders have already begun. Popular online retailer Flipkart.com has started taking pre-orders for the device at Rs. 19,499. It has been mentioned by the website that the new phone is expected to be launched in the last week of August 2013.
The latest device by Nokia is expected to come with free e-books from FlipKart and 3G data from Tata Docomo. Nokia is also expected to launch the Lumia 925 in the Indian market at approximately the same time. The company has also started taking pre-orders for the aluminum-bodied handset through its official partner at Rs, 34,169.
Even other e-commerce websites are taking pre-orders for the upcoming device at Rs. 32,500. For the first time, it was reported that the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 625 will be available in stores in August 2013. The Lumia 625 will have a 4.7-inch screen, which is the biggest one for a Lumia handset, but is a mid-range device. The smartphone also features a LCD display with 800 x 480p resolution and 201ppi pixel density.
The screen of the device also has the Super Sensitive Touch technology, which allows users to use it while wearing gloves.
