South Korea’s top electronics manufacturers, Samsung and LG are all set to present their latest mobile devices and TV technologies at IFA 2013. IFA is Europe’s biggest technology exhibition that will start next week in Berlin, Germany. Sources have revealed that the exhibition is all set to begin on September 1, 2013.
The upcoming show will display the new products from Samsung and LG, which will capture the attention of customers just before the beginning of the Christmas holiday season. This will also be a big opportunity for the two major companies from South Korea to show their presence in Europe.
Samsung is expected to unveil its first smartwatch which will have a non-flexible screen. The company is also supposed to update its Galaxy Note II and will be expanding its TV lineup. On the other hand, LG will be seen promoting its latest G2 smartphone and a new tablet – which has been named ‘G Pad 8.3’ – during the exhibition.
LG will be showcasing its new products as it is desperate to increase its presence in the ever-increasing global market. An official from Samsung said that in 2013, they will be focusing on appliances and televisions.
