Indian auto giant Mahindra’s Scorpio has proved to be a successful vehicle in the Indian market. In the past two years, the company sold more than 50,000 units per year and the demand for the vehicle has been increasing every year. The increased demand is particularly noticeable in the Indian states like Uttarakhand, Jhgarkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Orissa and West Bengal.
The popular Scorpio has been ruling the road for 11 years, ever since Mahindra launched the model in 2002. Since its launch, the Scorpio has received many updates and modifications, in order to keep abreast with changing demands and lifestyles.
The features of the vehicles make it a major seller, which had resulted in its ever increasing reputation. The Scorpio is powered by a mHawk engine and is able to tackle the most troublesome terrains, which are commonly seen on the Indian roads. Mahindra and Mahindra earlier launched a special edition of Scorpio with exclusive equipment.
The new edition is limited to just 500 units and has dual colored leather seats, steering wheel wrapped in leather, integrated roof mounted DVD player and a 9-inch screen. The special edition also has chrome alloy wheels and dual front airbags, while dashboard is in high gloss wood, as is its center console.
