Mahindra Reva has teamed up with the country’s biggest cab company Carzonrent to provide self-drive options in Delhi, Mumbai ad Bangalore. At the beginning, five electric vehicles will be available in every city and the cars can be booked via phone, just like any other cab. Mahindra Reva is the maker of the four seater-e20 electric car and is part of the Mahindra Group, which is worth $16.2 billion.

Apart from phone, electric cars can also be booked through online booking and they will be available at different locations and will have a drivability of 100 km. Chetan Maini, the CEO of Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles said, “A 10-minute test drive is not sufficient for customers to experience the convenience and benefits of an electric car. Hence, this new association will allow customers to use the e2o for a few hours or days and get an insight into this new and exciting next-generation, hassle-free mobility solution”.

Each city will feature new charging stations which will be developed by Carzonrent in order to provide power back to the potential customers.
