Indian telecom giant Reliance Communications announced that it will be offering the latest Apple products for the upcoming festive season. The company said that all Apple enthusiasts can now own the newly-launched iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C by paying Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 2,599 on a monthly basis, respectively, for 2 years.
Reliance Communications went on to say that no down payment will be required in the package. A statement from the company said, “The company has announced two game-changing offers, just Rs 2,599 per month for the iPhone 5c and Rs 2,999 per month for iPhone 5s, both for a duration of 24 months, which include handset cost, unlimited local and STD calls, SMS, national roaming and 3G data”.
It was also announced that customers will not be receiving any usage bills for 24 months, as everything will be included in the monthly installments paid by the customer. However, customers will only have to pay additionally for international calls, as well as international roaming. For the latest offering, Reliance has teamed up with select credit card providers.
The company also said that the latest offering is part of its efforts to bring an increased number of smartphone users to 3G network, which will increase its post-paid customer base, as well as establish its position as a data services provider.
