South Korean multinational automaker Hyundai Motors has quietly launched the Grand i10 automatic for the Indian market. The new Grand i10 has automatic transmission and the latest version was launched in September 2013.
After the launch, the new model proved to be a huge success and the company received more than 20,000 bookings, in addition to over 200,000 inquiries. In the first few months, the vehicle has received a great customer acceptance, due to which it has gained a spot among the Top 5 biggest selling models in the country.
The new Grand i10 has the 4-speed auto transmission and will come with 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine. It has a smooth auto transmission and optimal gear ratios are promising the best when it comes to fuel economy and performance. The new Grand i10 can deliver 16.7 kmpl with optimum combination of power, convenience and efficiency.
Rakesh Shrivastava – the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hyundai Motors India Ltd – while commenting on the vehicle during the launch said, “We have launched the Grand in September this year and it has been extremely well received.” The Grand Sportz AT has been priced at Rs. 564,852 (ex showroom price Delhi), while the Grand Asta AT has been priced at Rs. 592,001 (ex showroom price Delhi).
