Mobile phone manufacturer LG has launched its latest G Flex smartphone with a curved display for the Indian market. The new G Flex has been made available in India – along with other Asian markets – and comes with a price tag of Rs. 55,000. The new smartphone will hit the retail shops starting from January 2014.
Apart from the Indian launch, the company also announced the upcoming launch dates for Singapore and Hong Kong. The major attraction of the G Flex is that it is curved from top to bottom and will directly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Round, which is curved sideways. LG says that the G Flex is more comfortable for users because it fits the contour of the user’s face better than its counterparts.
Moreover, the South Korean company also said that the G Flex can easily fit into the back pocket of a user and offers a more assuring grip. The new device from LG can give an IMAX-like experience, which will enhance user’s experience while playing games or watching movies.
Features of the new LG phone include a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.26 GHz, a 6-inch display, 2 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera, Android 4.2.2 operating system and a 3500 mAh battery.
