South Korean tech giant LG finally launched its much awaited G Flex smartphone, which has been listed on the online shopping site Snapdeal.com for Rs. 69,990 in India. The online shopping store says that the new phone will be dispatched to customers in 15 business days.
The company first unveiled the phone in December 2013 in India. The new handset G Flex is the first curved display smartphone from LG. Features of the latest device include a 6-inch 720p display and the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor. The display featured on the device is the biggest Plastic OLED (POLED) display in the world, developed and mass produced specifically for smartphones.
The device also has 2 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and a rear mounted control buttons, like the ones which are found on the LG G2. In addition to that, the device also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. While the Samsung Galaxy Round curves from left to right, the company’s LG device goes orthogonally from top to bottom.
LG says that the curved battery of the device has been designed with a technology which reduces physical stress on the battery pack. In the curved form, it provides a better stability and performance and the G Flex features a battery of 3,500 mAh.
