As the popular festival of Holi is just around the corner, Indian telecom giant Aircel has launched a special national roaming pack during the upcoming festivities. The company is now offering a special recharge pack ‘RC 83’, which will provide a talktime of Rs. 90 and will have a validity of 28 days.
The chief marketing officer at Aircel, Anupam Vasudev in a statement said, “RC 83 will offer convenience to our customers and enable them to stay connected during their travel anywhere in the country”. The recent announcement from the telecom giant is good news for people who commute from one state to another during the festival of Holi.
With the new pack, subscribers will be able to make outgoing calls, as well as receive incoming calls at 1 paisa per second at home and also in roaming. The company also offers pan-India voice services and 3G services in about 13 circles and 4G services in eight circles already.
Aircel has become the first company in India to launch a special pack for subscribers during the festival of Holi. After the announcement, other companies are expected to come up with similar tariffs in order to provide a tough competition in the telecom market. Telecom companies in India are already competing in order to attract more subscribers.
