Telecom giant Reliance Communications has launched the popular Motorola Moto G phone as a CDMA handset for the Indian market. The Moto G has become one of the most popular devices in the country and it has been reported that the telecom company made the handset available on EMI basis in India.

Reliance Communications has set the price at Rs. 13,490 for the 8 GB model. Customers will also have the option for a zero down payment plans if they decide to purchase the handset. The official website has revealed that the company will offer 6-month and 12-month EMI options for the Moto G plus Zero plan.

However, for the time being, the new device is available on EMI option only for ICICI bank customers, who need to pay Rs. 1,205 for 12 months or Rs. 2,334 for 6 months. The front panel of the Moto G has a 4.5-inch 720p touchscreen with a Corning Gorilla Glass coating meant for scratch resistance and is powered by Android KitKat 4.4 operating system and will soon receive updates for the later versions.

Other features of the device include a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel webcam for video conferencing. The device also has a quad core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM.
