Flipkart’s Digiflip Pro XT 712 tablet to cost only Rs.9,999.
Online shopping giant Flipkart has become the next brand to enter in to the ever burgeoning tablet segment. The online giant has now launched the Digiflip Pro XT 712 tablet which is priced at a surprisingly affordable Rs. 9,999.
The new Digiflip device has a 7 inch screen with a metal body and has a 9.2 mm thickness. It is also ten percent thinner than its other market competitors. In terms of key specifications, the tablet is powered by a 1.3 Ghz Quad core processor with 1 GB RAM. The device has a 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of SD cards and finally, it is powered by the Android Jelly bean operating system.
Users who avail of Flipkart Apps to shop on the device will have the advantage of lucrative offers worth Rs.5000. The Digiflip will also come with a Bluetooth earpiece and a whopping 50 percent discount on the device cover. The company claims that the total benefits will add up to Rs. 9,000.
Michael Adani, the vice president at Flipkart said that it is not just any other tablet, “We see a gap in the market and being a marketplace it was our duty to respond.”
Flipkart does have a clear-cut edge with its Digiflip release; in a price sensitive market like India a tablet costing Rs. 9,999 is definitely worth a buy for the common man.
