BMW’s new ActiveHybrid 7 promises to be a one of a kind experience for auto enthusiasts.
German luxury auto company, BMW has launched its ActiveHybrid 7 for the Indian market. The vehicle was launched on July 23, 2014 and has been priced at Rs. 1.35 crores ex-showroom price. The new vehicle by BMW will be initially sold in only three cities of India, namely Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai.
The new ActiveHybrid 7 flawlessly amalgamates a highly efficient combustion engine with an energy saving electricity motor, to increase the vehicle’s efficiency rate.
The president of BMW India, Philipp von Sahr said, “Hybrid vehicles are milestones in a time of change toward low-emission driving. The ActiveHybrid 7 introduces a fundamentally new driving experience in the luxury segment that India has never seen before.”
The new Active Hybrid 7 will usher in a new experience into the country’s luxury auto market.
The president added that it is the perfect choice in terms of agility and performance of the BMW 7 Series in a hybrid vehicle, without having the need to sacrifice in terms of space and comfort.
The new ActiveHybrid has an electric motor and a petrol engine which is supported by a lithium –ion high performance battery and is coordinated by an intelligent hybrid system.
The driver will have the independence to choose between different driving modes to suit driving conditions.
