Indian smartphone brand, XOLO launches 8X-1000 which will be available in the Indian market starting next week.
The new model of XOLO 8X-1000 will be launched in the Indian market next week and will be pegged at Rs. 13,999. Along with the other features, the highlight of this smartphone is its HIVE UI which is being introduced by the company for the first time. According to XOLO, the User Interface was built by a software team in Bangalore and took around a year to develop.

- Operating Software – Android v4.4 KitKat.
- Core – 1.4GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM.
- Display – 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720p resolution.
- Storage – 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
- Camera – Front: 8MP, Back: 2MP
- Battery – 1,920mAh
Apart from the features listed above, the XOLO 8X-1000 features a glass back with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and a GPS.
User Interface:
The new user interface is the phone’s USP. While it is built along the lines of Xiaomi’s MIUI, it is customized for maximum user interaction. It features applications like, Hive Launcher, Chameleon Widget and Fusion X.
