American real estate baron and Chairman and President of The Trump Organization, Donald Trump expressed his intent to invest further into India’s commercial capital Mumbai’s real estate sector on August 12, 2014.

He unveiled his plan to build the 75-storied Trump Tower Mumbai in the city, in collaboration with the Lodha Group, one of India’s foremost luxury real estate developers. The Trump Tower will be located in the group’s emerging property, ‘The Park’, in Worli, the center of Mumbai.

“It has been my desire for many years to be involved in a great project in Mumbai, and it is my honor to bring the Trump lifestyles to the citizens of this truly global metropolis with the launch of Trump Tower Mumbai. We are thrilled to be working with the Lodha Group, a truly fantastic team of professionals,” said Trump.

The Trump Tower in Mumbai will have about 300 super luxury units in the three, four and five bedroom configuration. They will be priced in the range of Rs 9 crore to Rs 18 crore.

This is the organization’s second realty project in India. In 2012, it had allied with Pune-based (in Maharashtra, India) Panchashil Realty for a similar, but smaller, residential property. Reaching 22-stories, the twin-tower project hosting 44 luxury single-floor condominiums will be ready by 2015.

After Mumbai, Trump would shift his focus to Delhi, the country’s capital, for high-end luxury residential property.
