The latest Xiaomi Redmi 1S flash sale on Flipkart is over within 4.2 seconds.
The Xiaomi-Flipkart partnership is proving to be an exceptional one for both parties. The weekly flash sales held on Indian e-commerce website Flipkart, are creating records after being sold out within seconds. The latest phone by Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, Redmi 1S, went on sale on Tuesday at 2 pm. The 38,000 phones that were offered, got sold out within 4.2 seconds – confirms a tweet from Xiaomi Global Vice President Hugo Barra.
For this week’s flash sale, Xiaomi had offered 40,000 Redmi 1S, of which 2,000 were sold on Monday to Flipkart First customers while the rest 38,000 were sold on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Flipkart First is a paid subscription service where customers can avail exclusive benefits like Free Shipping, Free in-a-day delivery.
The Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 and the features that come with the phone, make the phone a steal at that price.
