British artist Lily Allen will perform in Singapore for the first time in February next year.
English singer-songwriter Lily Allen will soon be seen performing in Singapore for the very first time at The Star Theatre on February 2, 2015. Singaporean fans will finally get the chance to experience the Smile singer live, in her spunky element.
The 29-year-old artists came back in May 2014 after a four-year long hiatus to release her third studio album Sheezus, which was quite well-received. The long gap has reportedly been attributed to the singer’s focus shift from song-writing to establishing her own record label, as well as raising her family. Since the comeback, her album has shot to the top of the UK charts and been praised and admired for her daring and defiant lyrics.
The Hard Out Here performer is known best for her tireless eccentricity and discography at her performances. Allen has paired up with with her long time collaborator Greg Kurstin again for Sheezus, barring the title track (produced by DJ Dahi) and Air Balloon (produced by Shellback).
Allen made her musical debut in 2006 with her single Smile, progressing to her 2009 hit It’s Not Me, It’s You and went on to win three Ivor Novello Awards in 2010, selling over five million albums worldwide.
Tickets for the concert in Singapore will be available at all Sistic channels on October 20, 2014 from 10 AM onwards.
