Luxury smartphone brand Vertu launches Aster smartphone at Rs. 475,000 in India.
People have been cribbing about how expensive the iPhone 6 Plus is, without contract. Well, there is another sect of society that this luxury smartphone brand caters to. Vertu launched its luxury smartphone Aster in India on October 17, 2014. The high end phone will cost users a whooping Rs. 475,000, the amount a person can buy a decent car in.
The phone uses exquisite materials to build the body of the phone, while the phone runs Android v4.4 KitKat. For users that know the brand, the Vertu Aster is an ‘affordable’ model of the company, that usually starts their pricing at Rs 600,000. Since the price is exclusive, the availability also had to follow that trend.
The Vertu Aster will only be available in Mumbai and Delhi. Luxury stores like Swiss Paradise and Popley will house the smartphone in Mumbai, while the DLF Emporio will have it in New Delhi.
