Indian television brand Vu launches 32-inch Android KitKat LED TV in India for Rs. 26,990.

Indian television maker VU has recently launched a 32-inch Android KitKat LED TV in India, which will retail for Rs. 26,990. The TV will have full Wi-Fi connectivity and will come with about 50 pre installed applications that give users direct access to the web. Along with this, the television will have social networking applications like Facebook, Skype, YouTube and Miracast.

Once the television is installed, users may also download the Google Play Store onto the Android TV, through which they can download all the applications they would be able to on a smartphone. CEO of Vu Technologies, Devita Saraf said, “The Indian consumer market is growing at a rapid speed with increased demand for smart gadgets. The new Vu 32-inch Android TV offers viewers a host of applications and additional functions that makes TV viewing an interactive experience.”
