Chinese electronics company, Xiaomi launched its much awaited Mi 4i for the Indian mobile enthusiasts at an event in New Delhi on April 23, 2015. The new Mi 4i is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is all set to go on sale from April 30, 2015 through its regular retail partner Flipkart.com.
The device will soon be made available on other channels including the Mi website. The best thing about the new Xiaomi Mi 4i is its display with a 5 inch HD display with a pixel density that can go up to 441 ppi. The company has claimed that its screen has a higher color saturation than Apple’s iPhone 6. Another good feature of the device is its Sunlight Display technology that keeps the image quality balanced under bright sunlight.
The new Mi 4i has a 64 bit snapdragon 615 processor, performance cores at 1.7 GHz and four power saving cores at 1.1 Ghz, 2GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage. The device has a 13 mega pixel rear camera with a dual tone flash and a torch feature and 5 mega pixel front camera. The Mi 4i has a timer for selfies and comes with features like wrinkle remover, skin smoothening and more.
The device is dual SIM and runs on Android’s latest Lollipop based MI UI 6.
