US based fast food giant McDonalds Japan is trying its best to revive its reputation in the market after the few recent food scares. McDonalds Japan has launched a new program which is aimed at regaining the confidence of the consumers including mothers with young children. The program Mc Adventure for Kids program is all set to begin from June 9, 2015 until June 30, 2015 at all the McDonalds restaurants across the nation.
Under the new program, children and their parents will be invited and will be made to wear the staff uniforms of McDonalds and cook Mogumogu Mac burger in actual restaurant kitchen. The Mogumogu Mac is a new burger which consists of a chicken party, corn and carrot. The children who are participating must be between 3 and 12 years of age. The new program by McDonalds is a new initiative that is announced by the company in April, 2015 in an attempt to restore its reputation that has been shattered due to a few food scandals.
In recent months, a few incidences were reported when foreign objects were found in the produce. In one such incident, a human tooth was found in the fries and a plastic piece was found in the ice-cream. In April 2015, the company announced that it is all set to renovate 2,000 of its 3,000 outlets in Japan and would shut down 130 of the outlets.
McDonalds is also looking forward to cut down the working costs of the company.
