Asia Bizz: BMW AG Motors Recalls Some 350000 Cars From Worldwide
BMW AG (BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AG) has recalled some 350000 cars from the worldwide market. The recall has been done due to a problem found in the braking system of the cars. It is a strong blow to the German car manufacturing giant as this could have affect the company’s image. If we see to the bright side, there were faults in the power brake system, but the cars were not completely unsafe.
The recall has affected the whole series of V8 and V12 engine powered vehicles, which include the BMW 5,6,7 series cars. The recall also includes the worlds most expensive cars, the Rolls Royce. The total figure of the cars affected by in the recall are 348000 BMW, and an additional 4800 Rolls Royce.
The company officials have stated, that if the cars are not treated for their power braking system, then there will be a leak, which will develop and there wont be sufficient vacuum to apply break inertia on the vehicle. The BMW owners are requested to contact their nearest BMW service center for the correction of the problem.
