Asia Bizz: The Shanghai World Expo 2010 Attendance Breaks Records
The Shanghai World Expo 2010 attendance has broken the world record of the number of visitors attending the six month long mega expo. The total number of visitors that have attended the expo, has crossed 64.22 million and has surpassed the previous record of 64 million set at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan in 1970.
After witnessing months of cultural and global events at the expo, it has entered its final two weeks before it ends. The organizers and managers of the event, have stated that most of the visitors in the attendance are mostly Chinese. Remarkable, as to what China has shown the world by organizing the World Expo.
According to experts, the number of visitors at the end of the event would be around 70 million. The event is scheduled to end on the 31st of October. This World Expo has been the most unique, as there have been cultural ideas and technologies that have been showcased in this six month long event, in which more than 189 countries participated.
