Asia Bizz: Intel On A Move To Upgrade Manufacturing Plants And Also To Build A New Unit
American technology giant Intel, has announced that it will be upgrading all its manufacturing plants in the US and in addition to this, they will also be building a new one in Oregon. The company is all set to pump in some $6-$8 billion in its upgrading process. The latest upcoming plant in Oregon will be having new high tech positions and will be providing jobs to thousands of people in America.
The company is based in Santa Clara, California, and it has been seen in the past that the company has always used a huge chunk of its revenue in upgrading and building plants for the organization. In fact this process of upgrading facilities has always turned to be a boon for the company.
The Vice President and GM of Intel’s Manufacturing and Supply chain, Brian Krzanich, has said that the new plant will be providing the company a step into technology, that it has never imagined. It has been seen, even in the times of country’s fiscal downfall, the company has always succeeded to stand firm and stable, because of it’s policies.
