Asia Bizz: HP Has Officially Unveiled The Palm Pre 2
After giving the world a surprise with the Palm in April, HP has now officially unveiled the Palm Pre 2 smartphone. The American technology giant is really looking to step up its pace in the smartphone market and also make a strong presence. It has also announced that it will be joining Verizon to bring the smartphone in the market.
The Palm Pre 2 will be operating on the Palm WebOS 2.0, and it has enhanced the phones performance and features by a great deal. Some of the new features that have come with the WebOS 2.0 are – True Multitasking, Just Type, HP Synergy, Exhibition, Favourites, Adobe Flash 10.1, Skype Mobile, etc. HP is expecting a lot from this smartphone, especially its performance in the market compared to the other competitors.
It is a CDMA phone and will be running on a 1ghz processor and 512 mb RAM. It has 3.1 inch multi touch screen, a 5 mega pixel camera with flash and along with this it also features wi-fi and an inbuilt GPS. The Pre 2 will be officially launched on the 22nd October on SFR carrier in France.
