Asia Bizz: Spice Mobility Launches 3D Phone View D – Features And Price Revealed
Spice Mobility launched India’s first 3D display mobile phone on Sunday. The device, called View D, permits users to get a feel of how videos and images look in 3D, but without the need of 3D glasses.
The Vice-President of Spice Mobility Naveen Paul said, “With growing popularity of 3D content and devices, this is one segment we wanted to tap. We have created this new device for people looking for smart mobile phones.”
So what are some of the cool features of the View D phone? The mobile device comes with a 2.4-inch 3D display screen, in addition to a 2 megapixel camera. It also comes with FM Radio and an MP3 player, and a dual interface option – which allows users to toggle between 2D and 3D. The other noteworthy features include dual stereo speakers, unlimited phone book and an expandable memory up to 16GB.
The handset is expected to be sold at over 50,000 stores across India and comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,299.
